Dan Sharp

Dan Sharp is an illustrator based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has over twenty-five years of experience in a range of artistic fields. He holds a bachelor degree in studio art from Michigan State University and has worked with clients both locally and around the world.  He has a solid background in both painting and drawing. He has a large number of clients and has contributed to artwork for many award winning children’s educators and youth fiction publishing projects.

When not in the studio Dan logs over a 1,000 miles on his bike often times riding in tours or on trails with his lifelong friend (since second grade) David Stricklen. The two of them have corroborated on numerous and varied creative projects throughout the years.  In his spare time, Dan spends time in his wood shop building furniture and fine guitars. He also has volunteered time building for Habitat for Humanity.
